The Hobbiton attraction in Matamata wouldn’t be complete without an enormous smorgasbord of Hobbit food. Of course it’s far too costly to make new storehouses of food every week, so the answer was to make a village worth of artificial food for tourists to be amazed by. There is not a single piece of real food here.
